Calling New Writers in Croydon!

CYTO are looking for writers based in Croydon or South East London aged 16-30 to submit short plays for online performance.

 

CYTO will rehearse and perform up to 4 plays of 15-30 minutes each with two groups, aged 6-12 and 13-18.

 

Plays need to be suitable for these ages. Plays do not need to be written specifically for online performance, or engage with the pandemic, but do consider how your work might be adaptable for and adapted to a zoom format.

This is a call for submissions, not a commission. Plays should already be written but ideally not yet performed or published.⁠

We want to support new work by young writers in our community. There will be a license fee per performance. ⁠
